The first visit to a doctor’s office can sometimes seem intimidating, especially for kids, but your first visit to Sohn Orthodontics will be completely painless.
Your free initial consultation will allow you to meet our wonderful team and get to know Dr. Sohn. She’ll help you learn more about orthodontic treatment and work with our team to determine which treatment options are best suited for your needs.
During this visit, our highly-trained orthodontic treatment coordinator will take some digital photographs of your teeth. These images are the best way for Dr. Sohn to see your teeth, jaws, and facial soft tissue.
What We’ll Do
At this visit, we will:
- Review your medical and dental history
- Provide a complete oral examination to determine what treatments, if any, are appropriate for you or your family
- Help you create a customized treatment plan with estimated treatment durations
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
Creating Your Custom Treatment Plan
After reviewing your records, Dr. Sohn will join you in a private consultation room to discuss your individualized and unique treatment plan. She’ll point out specific areas of concern and show you what kind of corrections you can expect by showing photos and videos of similar cases.
Dr. Sohn will take as much time as you need to answer your questions and decide what kind of treatment is best for you. She and her assistant will then walk you through the process. They’ll explain everything—from scheduling and expected discomfort levels, to finances and payment options.
We believe you should be involved with the treatment decisions that affect your smile. We encourage you to ask questions, so we can properly address any chief concerns that you may have regarding your treatment.
We’ll be honest and up-front with you about your diagnosis, our recommendations, and any alternative treatment options. By working together, we can help you achieve your goal of a healthy, beautiful smile. We can’t wait to get to know you!
