Dr. Sohn earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. Following graduation, she went on to pursue her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated in 1997. After three years studying at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Sohn earned her Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Dental Sciences in 2000.
